We use Google Analytics to collect:

- Closest metropolitan centre
- Statistical data such as:
- Number of visits for each page
- Number of file downloads from our domain
We collect this data to understand if our marketing towards Monash University students and industry sponsors/partners is effective.
Because we don’t collect personally-identifying information, we cannot exclude individuals from being included in our analytics. However, since Google Analytics communicates with a well-known domain (www.googletagmanager.com), individuals can prevent being included in our analytics by blocking this domain on their personal devices with:
- web browser extensions such as uBlock Origin
- network-wide programs such as Pi-hole
- or with a device-wide programs such as Portmaster
